From Shane Baptista:
Second Life has a built in editor that starts you with "prims" which is short for primitives. Primitives are basic geometric shapes which serve as the starting point for creating more complex objects. There is some motion in the 3d modelling community to create exporters from more sophisticated 3d modelling tools into Second Life.
Currently the exporters seem to be pretty simple. I'm searching for a more robust tool to import 3d objects. I'm specifically looking to have a Blender to Second Life data path. Right now one can go from Blender to Sketchup to Second Life.
More later.
